Main Objective:
Maintain Packhouse and field equipment to ensure efficient running of facility
Key Responsibilities & Duties
* Repairs and maintenance of a variety of packing equipment, agricultural equipment, pumps and machinery and light vehicles
* Assisting with routine preventative maintenance and servicing
* Welding and fabrication work
* Assisting to carry out fault finding
* General workshop duties as required
* Travel to attend breakdowns on farm in a company provided vehicle
* Suited to a qualified tradesperson however previous experience in lieu of formal trade qualifications will be considered
* Commitment to safe work practices
Skills & Experience
* A good knowledge of general machinery, vehicle and equipment maintenance
* Experience in welding and fabrication work
* Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
* Relevant Trade Qualifications are not essential but would be viewed favourably
* Mechanically minded individuals are encouraged to apply
* Current Manual Drivers Licence
* Experience driving tractors would be an advantage
* Forklift and truck license would be an advantage
* Excellent work ethic and a high level of workmanship
