Carer Recruitment Volunteer
The Carer Recruitment Volunteer will be supporting our CR&D Team in the Warrnambool region with spreading the word of our Foster Care programs. This role involves delivering information, distributing promotional material, and speaking with interested community members about becoming a foster carer.
* Delivering information and distributing promotional material to local businesses and households
* Speaking with interested community members about MacKillop’s work and the benefits of becoming a foster carer
* Supporting the CR&D team in organizing events and engaging with the community
* Understanding of and commitment to MacKillop’s values
* Passion for MacKillop’s work and motivation for supporting its cause
* Open mind and ability to adjust communication style
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously
* Appreciation for walking several kilometres at a time through different neighbourhoods
