About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail‐oriented and experienced Customer Support & Operations Administrator to join the team on a temporary basis.
This role is primarily responsible for supporting residential tenancy administration and conducting detailed property inspections, including move‐in/move‐out condition reports and new build defect inspections.
You will play a key role in ensuring tenancy documentation is accurate and compliant with the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA), while supporting smooth operational delivery across the Village.
This is a hands‐on operational role suited to someone who enjoys working in a structured, fast‐paced environment with strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Tenancy Contracts & RTA Compliance
* Prepare, process, and manage residential tenancy agreements in line with RTA legislation
* Ensure all contracts, bonds, and tenancy documentation are accurate and compliant
* Maintain up‐to‐date resident records and tenancy files
* Support resident onboarding and departure processes
Room Inspections & Defect Management
* Conduct detailed room inspections for arrivals, departures, and routine checks
* Complete accurate condition reports in line with procedures
* Undertake new building defect inspections, identifying and documenting issues
* Record defects with clear notes and photographic evidence
* Liaise with maintenance teams to track and close out defect items
Operations & Administration
* Support day‐to‐day Village operational administration
* Maintain accurate records in property management systems (e.g. StarRez or similar)
* Assist with workflow coordination across Village teams
* Provide timely reporting on inspections, tenancy activity, and defects
* Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all data handling
About You
You are highly organised, detail‐focused, and confident working within compliance‐driven environments. You take pride in producing accurate documentation and have a strong understanding of property or tenancy processes.
What You'll Bring
* Current RTA licence / Certificate of Registration (essential)
* Experience in property management, student accommodation, real estate, or facilities inspections
* Strong experience completing room or property condition reports
* High attention to detail and strong written communication skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
* Strong understanding of tenancy compliance and procedures
Highly regarded
* Experience in new build defect inspections or handover environments
* Experience using property management systems (e.g. StarRez or similar)
