Account Manager Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven individual to fill the role of Account Manager in Port Hedland.
Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and developing strong customer relationships through regular sales calls and site visits. They will also plan and develop strategies based on anticipated customer needs, undertake market and competitor analysis to inform sales decisions, and provide product advice and recommendations on relevant products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Building long-term partnerships with customers through proactive communication and relationship-building activities.
* Developing and implementing effective sales strategies that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
* Conducting thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
* Providing accurate and timely reporting on sales activity and performance metrics.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the industrial, construction, local government, and/or manufacturing sectors.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and achieving targets.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
