KAEFER has an exciting opportunity to work on a major project in the Pilbara region with a Tier 1 mining client. The role will be offered on an 8/6 roster with point of hire being Perth only.

We are now seeking an experienced Project Controller – Lead to support project governance, cost control and performance management across major maintenance, construction and shutdown activities. This role is critical to ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial oversight and effective project delivery.


Responsibilities

* Assist Project Managers to ensure timely and accurate control of project performance, work scheduling and progress monitoring.
* Collaborate with Project Managers to establish project budgets following handover from the estimating team.
* Plan, track, monitor and report on work progress, hours spent, productivity and variations.
* Support cost control activities, including budgeting, forecasting and financial performance reviews.
* Identify required adjustments, risks and opportunities for improvement across project controls.
* Communicate with key stakeholders to ensure expectations, outcomes and performance metrics are clearly understood and managed.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of project control systems, processes and reporting frameworks.


Qualifications

* Experience in a cost control or project controls role, or a finance background supported by relevant tertiary qualifications.
* Ability to travel to site as required.
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with strong attention to detail.
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
