Support Officer Job Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Support Officer to work in a temporary full-time assignment with the potential to extend. This position will be based in Central Ballarat, Victoria.
The Support Officer will play a vital role in engaging with participants and managing participant plans and supports. State/Territory-based business units manage operating functions, ensuring accessible, nationally-consistent participant experiences.
This role will involve procedural, clerical, administrative tasks, including basic research and analysis activities. The successful candidate may also have public contact duties, communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the National Delivery team with participant engagement and plan management.
* Undertaking procedural, clerical, and administrative tasks as required.
* Communicating with internal and external stakeholders as necessary.
Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
* Customer service skills and ability to manage conflict and difficult conversations.
* Microsoft Suite skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and ability to use initiative and work independently.
* Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience working in the disability sector or with similar organizations.
* Front of House and/or administration experience.
