Site Engineering Internship
A 12-week internship is available for an entry-level civil engineer and site engineer student or graduate.
* This position will suit a civil engineering or construction management graduate.
The internship involves providing support to the primary site engineering team in the design and development of infrastructure projects such as high-rise commercial and residential projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing support to the site engineering team in managing the planning and design of construction projects, contributing technical knowledge and expertise to developing project drawings.
* Performing inspections, scheduling, planning, surveying, procurement, and quality control for all site activities.
* Maintaining project documents and filing systems, and updating them as the site work progresses.
* Using software such as Primavera or other ERP systems to map project progress and perform field progress evaluations.
Learning Opportunities:
* Site engineering and site management experience, including maintenance, timeline management, client liaison, and technical expertise.
* Understanding the Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia, and a working knowledge of building design practices.
* Understanding of core site inspection activities to ensure design and build is in compliance with drawings and specifications.

* Membership of the CSA Internship Academy.
