About the Opportunity
The Team Leader, Legal Support delivers high quality, client-focused outcomes through effective management of employees, allocation of resources and efficient use of technology. The Team Leader, Legal Support provides leadership to a team of administrative staff to achieve workgroup goals with a focus on professional development and developing and strengthening collaboration across the CSO and has a fundamental role in providing motivation to staff and fostering a positive culture in line with the CSO Behaviours framework.
The Team Leader, Legal Support also has oversight of general office management within the section. Skills that will be advantageous to this role are:
* Prior experience in managing staff in a busy environment.
* High level ability in motivating staff to achieve set goals.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* High level communication skills with staff and management.
* Comfortable with changing deadlines and prioritising work accordingly.
* Ability to problem solve.
About the Business
The Crown Solicitor's Office, through the Attorney-General, provides legal services to government, Ministers, agencies and departments, including legal advice, representation before courts and tribunals, negotiating commercial contracts, drafting and production of legal documents, counsel for the conduct of summary prosecutions and Magistrates' appeals, native title claim management, land conveyancing and investigation.

Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.
Some out of hours work may be required.
