Key Responsibilities
* Fully responsible for the execution of Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSA) / Maintenance and Service Agreement and overall asset performance throughout the project lifecycle. Managing the assets ranging from 10MWh to 400MWh PV/BESS projects.
* Attend site to supervise all works, including troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities, and ensure compliance with onsite WHS regulations.
* Be responsible for ensuring asset compliance, and for developing and maintaining the relevant records and documentation. Develop and implement an audit program to support compliance, where necessary.
* Lead pre-contract and tender-stage activities, including O&M scope definition, pricing strategy, risk allocation, awareness of liquidated damages (LD) exposure, and supporting procedures.
* Own and manage availability guarantees, performance guarantees, KPIs, and service-level reporting, ensuring contractual compliance and customer satisfaction.
* Lead pre-contract communication and contract negotiation for O&M agreements, and manage internal teams and subcontractors during project execution and operations.
* Take full responsibility for subcontractor strategy, governance, commercial performance, and service delivery, including contract management and ongoing performance evaluation.
* Review, prepare, and maintain all O&M-related documentation, including proposals, reports, contracts, and service records; ensure proper contract execution and document control.
* Participate in and support the implementation, commissioning, and technical support of large-scale BESS projects; ensure familiarity with O&M procedures and system operations.
* Lead incident management, including fault coordination, root-cause analysis (RCA), corrective actions, and clear, timely communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
* Coordinate relevant stakeholders including subcontractors, internal technical teams, asset owners, and AEMO/DNSP to resolve on-site technical, system, or operational issues efficiently.
* Take accountability for O&M budget control, margin protection, cost optimisation, and variation management during operations.
* Continuously optimise O&M processes to improve asset performance, operational efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, New Energy, Power Systems, Automation, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience in O&M management of energy storage systems or renewable energy projects, with a solid understanding of large-scale BESS operations and asset management. Minimum one year of asset management experience, encompassing contract execution and obligation fulfilment, as well as onsite operational management.
* Preferrable with technical background and the ability to understand system architecture, analyse faults, and guide on-site troubleshooting.
* Demonstrated capability in O&M documentation preparation, contract management, and commercial awareness.
* Proven experience using CMMS systems to manage, track, and document all maintenance activities during the O&M lifecycle.
