Overview
We're searching for a hands-on, highly organised, and solutions-focused General Manager to lead our small but powerful team, streamline workflows, and ensure the business runs at peak efficiency every single day. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, balancing big-picture oversight with attention to the smallest operational details.
You will work closely with the Founder to implement systems, manage performance, and keep all parts of the business moving — freeing up creative and strategic capacity at the top.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and support our small, creative team daily
Allocate and manage daily and weekly tasks across staff
Conduct regular check-ins with team members
Monitor productivity and ensure accountability
Foster a motivated, high-performing work culture
Operational Excellence
Implement and optimise workflows, systems, and processes
Keep the office and work environment highly organised, efficient, and streamlined
Set up effective team communication channels and protocols
Integrate automations and AI tools to save time and boost efficiency
Business Oversight
Stay across all areas of the business, ensuring smooth operation between departments (production, sales, marketing, PR, retail)
Manage and coordinate our virtual assistants (VAs) and contractors
Oversee finances and reporting in collaboration with bookkeeping and accounting teams
Review and interpret sales reports, making recommendations for growth and efficiency
Project Management
Keep major projects (including launches and activations) on track
Ensure timelines and deadlines are met without compromising quality
Troubleshoot and problem-solve quickly when issues arise
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a General Manager, Operations Manager, or senior leadership role (preferably in fashion, retail, creative industries, or fast-growing startups)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire small teams
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
Confident in implementing new systems, processes, and workflows from scratch
Excellent communication skills — both internally and externally
Strong financial literacy and experience with budgets, sales, and performance reporting
Tech-savvy, with the ability to adopt new tools and automations
Calm under pressure and solution-oriented, even in high-stakes moments
