The Role
At JD Sports, the customer is at the heart of everything we do. As a Assistant Store Manager, your mission is to lead with a customer-first mindset, deliver great in-store experiences, and inspire your team to achieve excellence every day. In this role, you will partner with the Store Manager to inspire your team, drive performance, coach to high performance, oversee day-to-day operations, manage financial budgets and targets, and ensure visual merchandising excellence. In the absence of the Store Manager, you are the first point of contact for your team, ensuring our customers receive great in-store service that meets JD Sports' high standards.
Customer Experience
Lead with a customer-first mindset, coaching and inspiring your team to create exceptional customer experiences that build loyalty to our brand and store.
Business Development
Drive store performance and deliver results against financial budgets and targets, maximizing sales and profitability by analyzing data and reports to identify opportunities and mitigate risks in sales, inventory and operations.
Commercial Operations
Apply in-depth knowledge of retail operations to prioritize time, tasks and processes for the best return on investment.
Dynamic People Management
Create a positive and motivating store environment that inspires high performance, nurture a strong and inclusive culture where everyone is valued, recognized, and enabled to succeed through feedback, coaching, training and recognition. Attract, recruit and develop top talent for your store.
