What we are looking for:
We are looking for a talented Recruitment Business Partner to play a crucial role in coordinating and implementing our recruitment and selection processes. You will maintain efficient systems and processes to ensure a smooth and effective hiring and candidate experience. Additionally, you will provide invaluable support to our recruiting managers, assisting them to identify and onboard top talent.
What your day will look like:
* Coordinate the internal & external recruitment function across Council
* Make recommendations and assist in developing strategic and operational plans for the recruitment function
* Provide advice, assistance and coaching across council on best practice Recruitment processes.
* Undertake recruitment projects with minimal supervision.
* Partner with managers to provide strategic advice to develop appropriate recruitment & retention strategies which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements with consideration to workforce capability.
What you’ll need for success:
* Broad generalist human resources experience with particular focus on recruitment, attraction and retention and knowledge of contemporary issues in human resources and recruitment.
* Highly developed organisational skills to meet conflicting deadlines whilst maintaining integrity and quality of recruitment and selection methods.
* Ability to undertake research and analyse contemporary human resources issues with particular focus on recruitment and partnering with the organisation to deliver a high level of service.
* Proven ability to work effectively in a human resources team environment, accept responsibility, exercise initiative, observe confidentiality and work under pressure with limited supervision.
* Highly developed computer skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Excel and Outlook, and the ability to produce high quality reports, analyse and interpret statistical data.
