Qualifications
A qualification or certificate in a building trade (preferably carpentry).
An organised approach to problem solving and time management.
An involvement in workplace health & safety.
An attention to detail.
The ability to lead with integrity.
Responsibilities
Managing a small team of maintenance workers servicing the 6 sites within Gawler which comprise Gawler Community Retirement Homes.
Undertaking maintenance & refurbishment work as prioritised.
Liaison with the residents and potential residents.
Reporting to the General Manager a flexible remuneration package commensurate with the skills and abilities you bring to the role will be negotiated. Gawler Community Retirement Homes has the benefit of being a Private Benevolent Institution when considering salary arrangements.
