Job Description
Epworth Freemasons, one of Victoria's leading maternity hospitals, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Midwives to join our Postnatal and Birth Suite Unit/s in East Melbourne.

Impactful Care - Deliver holistic, personalised midwifery care that empowers families to have a positive pregnancy, birth, and postnatal experience.
What You'll Be Doing
* Providing expert midwifery care to postnatal mothers and newborns, including advice on feeding, baby care, and maternal recovery.
* Monitoring and assessing the health and wellbeing of both mother and baby, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
* Ensuring a seamless, patient-centered experience through collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
* Role-modeling empathy, compassion, and professionalism in your interactions with patients and families.
* Continuously enhancing your skills by participating in ongoing education and staying current with best practices in maternity care.
Qualifications
* AHPRA Registration as a midwife (essential).
* Previous experience in a Birth Suite and/or Postnatal ward.
* A strong understanding of contemporary maternity and newborn care practices.
* A passion for providing exceptional, empathetic care to women and their families
What We Offer
* The annual salary range for full time Registered Midwives – AUD $71,622 - $100,564 + super + entitlements, depending on registration type, year level and position/experience (prorated for part-time).
* The highest level of salary packaging benefits available to healthcare workers up to $15,900 p.a. (pre-tax) plus an additional $2,650 (pre-tax) for food, beverage, and holiday accommodation expenses every year.
