The Role
Working closely with the GM Finance and exposed to the CFO, this role embeds value stream and agile finance principles to improve financial transparency, decision making and outcomes. You will provide high impact financial insights that support customer value, flow efficiency and sustainable performance across multiple value streams. This role suits someone comfortable operating in evolving, fast paced environments where influence, insight and simplification matter as much as technical capability.
Key Responsibilities include
* Producing monthly management reports
* Partnering with transformation and value stream leaders to design and continuously improve value stream financial reporting, standards and controls
* Provide financial insight, modelling and scenario analysis to support value based prioritisation and investment decisions
* Ensure investment cases focus on customer value, throughput, capacity and total cost of ownership
* Translate strategic objectives and cost targets into clear value stream measures and performance expectations
* Embed benefits realisation into ongoing value stream performance management
* Ensure appropriate capitalisation of systems and assets in line with accounting and tax requirements
* Act as a change agent, uplifting financial capability and coaching leaders in value based decision making
Your Profile
You are a confident, commercially astute finance professional who enjoys working at the intersection of strategy, transformation and delivery. You are comfortable challenging thinking, influencing senior stakeholders and simplifying complexity. It is imperative you are hands on in terms of producing monthly management reporting as well as the finance business partnering aspects of this role.
You Will Bring
* Big4 CA qualified professional accounting qualification
* Hands on senior finance business partnering experience in a large FMCG/Consumer organisation
* Strong understanding of value stream accounting, agile finance or modern financial management practices
* Proven experience supporting transformation initiatives, ideally in agile or value stream environments
* Strong financial modelling, scenario analysis and business case capability
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior and executive levels
* A pragmatic, solutions focused mindset and high attention to professional.
