We’re looking for a visionary procurement leader to drive smarter, faster, and better ways of working with vendors across our Commercial and R&D operations. This is a high-impact role, partnering directly with senior executives to shape strategies, reduce costs, and create value across the business.
Your role
* Lead global procurement for Commercial Services, Professional Services, Go to Market activities, Indirect spend and R&D services, including marketing agencies and Contract Research Organizations (CROs).
* Build and strengthen relationships with key business leaders, influencing decisions and driving transformation.
* Develop supplier base and procurement strategies supporting LEO Pharma growth strategy particularly on commercial activities, Go to Market and Search and Development activities.
* Set the strategy for Commercial Services, Professional Services, Indirect and R&D Procurement, including spend management, supplier relationship management and external partnerships.
* Lead the Procurement team on all RFP’s and projects, optimizing the commercial foundation.
* Lead, develop and motivate senior professionals and teams in Denmark and Poland.
* Inspire your procurement team with strong leadership behaviors and skills.
* Find innovative ways to work with suppliers, unlocking efficiency, quality, and value.
* Oversee major projects and vendor negotiations, with responsibility for significant global budgets.
* Champion a culture of collaboration, simplification, and accountability.
* Proactive member of the Procurement Leadership Team reporting to the CPO.
* Drive procurement activities towards the Leo Pharma Net Zero Emission target.
* 10+ years in international strategic procurement, including leadership of large global teams.
* Proven procurement experience within professional services for commercial functions in Pharma or Life Science industry and CROs in R&D.
* Strong commercial acumen and the courage to challenge the status quo.
* Exceptional ability to influence and collaborate at the highest levels.
