About the role:
Reporting to the Superintendent you will be working as part of the Aurizon Operations team in Murrin Murrin (WA). This is a permanent position working an 8 & 6 FIFO roster and will see you exercise your mechanical skills in assisting with the operation and maintenance requirements of the Aurizon fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with routine servicing, corrective maintenance, and fault repair on the fleet.
* Perform production work, including operating machines, cleaning equipment and tools, and assisting trade staff as directed.
* Carry out general labouring duties as directed by leaders and coordinators.
* Utilise and input accurate data into information and maintenance management systems.
* Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
About You: To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:
* Proven mechanical aptitude with a strong commitment to safety.
* A current unrestricted driver's licence (minimum HR).
* High risk heavy forklift ticket (mandatory).
* Ability to work effectively in a team and across functions.
* Experience in working in a heavy industry environment, particularly around heavy machinery.
