About the Role

As a Catering Assistant you will support the Catering Team within the Business Operations Department at Allens. You will report to the Head Chef and work closely with the Front of House Team to ensure a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment for staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain a clean, hygienic, and orderly kitchen at all times, including regular cleaning of the kitchen, dining and food preparation areas, and prompt cleaning of dishes and equipment.
* Ensure daily stocking and cleaning of all staff tea kitchen areas, keeping kitchens fully stocked and hygienic.
* Manage tearoom service.
* Handle stock management by unpacking daily deliveries, implementing proper storage procedures, and keeping a tidy storage room.

* Excellent customer service, presentation and strong communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Initiative and the ability to prioritise and multitask.
* Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a busy environment.
* Exceptional time‐management and organisational skills.
* A desire to learn, grow, network, and mentor others.

Working Hours

Part‐time role: Monday – Thursday 11:00am – 7:00pm.
