What you'll be doing: Maintaining and improving multiple WordPress-based websites, with a focus on both functionality and performance.
Playing a key role in the shift to a headless CMS architecture, utilising technologies such as Node.js, Next.js, and React.
Supporting API integrations (particularly REST and BULK APIs) between internal systems and Salesforce, working closely with the systems specialist and Salesforce admin.
Fulfilling technical and development-related requests from a highly engaged director – expect plenty of variety and problem-solving.
Providing technical guidance and helping the organisation optimise their current systems with a minimal-code approach.
Balancing website optimisation, systems integration, and stakeholder management in a fast-paced, office-first work environment.
Experience required: At least three years of experience with WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Working knowledge of React, Node.js or Next.js.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with REST or BULK APIs.
Mid to senior level with the ability to work autonomously.
Familiarity with domain/server management (ideally cPanel/WHM).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Further desirable experience (not a must have): Experience with Java and C#.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment or a digital agency.
Experience with Salesforce or interest in learning more about it.
Familiarity with WooCommerce or similar.
A commutable distance from the Toronto based office.
