We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to expand our small team, with a view to a genuine long-term, full-time position. The successful applicant will be well supported and get to work in a clean, modern workshop.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Australian recognised trade certificate or equivalent qualification
* Able to work independently or as part of a team
* Forklift licence is an advantage
* Experience in mining or heavy vehicle maintenance preferred, but apprentices in their 3rd or 4th year are encouraged to apply
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Assembly, maintenance, and repair of mining and service vehicles
* Fitting, replacing, and aligning mechanical components
* Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in vehicle systems
* Use of modern tools and equipment
* On-site work where required
* Assisting with stock control and ordering of mechanical parts
* Work in a safe, small team environment with a family-orientated company
* Part-time or casual employment available
