Finance Business Partner Role Overview
The primary objective of the Finance Business Partner is to collaborate closely with department heads in driving commercial decisions and increasing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert financial guidance on pricing, product launches, and go-to-market strategies.
* Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
* Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives across different departments.
* Deliver regular reporting packs with variance analysis and executive commentary.
* Develop dynamic financial models to support scenario planning and investment decision-making.
* Analyse key SaaS metrics including ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV, and NRR.
* Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to assess campaign ROI and customer acquisition efficiency.
Requirements:
* CA/CPA qualification is essential.
* 5+ years' experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering roles.
* Prior exposure to SaaS, tech, or subscription-based business models is highly desirable.
* Strong financial modelling skills are required.
* Demonstrated ability with BI tools and dashboard creation.
* Exceptional communication skills and ability to present to SLT.
* Commercial mindset with a passion for data-driven strategy.
