Role and Project Details: Due to continued growth and increasing scope of works, Whittens are actively recruiting for a Concrete Pump Operator to work on our west coast projects. As a Concrete Pump Operator you will be responsible for the following: Operating and maintaining concrete pumping equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency. Assisting with the set-up and breakdown of concrete pumping equipment on site. Conducting pre-start checks and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Performing concreting duties as needed to support the concrete crew. Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations. What’s on offer: 20:8 roster Competitive EBA hourly rates penalties Permanent contract To be successful in this role, you will have: Relevant qualifications as a Concrete Pump Operator (High Risk Boom Ticket). At least five years’ experience as a Concrete Pump Operator in the construction/ mining industry. Current Australia Drivers License (HR Class). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Effective time management and attention to detail. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment. Troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventative maintenance skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment. A positive attitude with a strong safety focus. All potential candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical and obtain a national police check.
