The Role
We are looking for Registered Nurses, who is passionate about a person-centered approach to care, to join our 87-bed facility in Kempsey on a casual or permanent part time basis.
You must be dedicated to working and understanding the residential aged care environment and standards. We have a range of shifts available and a culture of high-level empathy and compassion for our residents.
The LocationKempsey, New South Wales, is a charming town situated on the Mid North Coast of the state. Known for its scenic beauty along the Macleay River, Kempsey offers a blend of natural landscapes and a rich cultural heritage.
What you will do
The Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring:
* Holistic assessment in partnership with residents and their representatives
* Development and evaluation of individualised resident care plans
* Supervise and support Personal Care Workers
* Clinical care including wound management, palliative care and medication management
* Liaison with medical and allied health care staff
* Provision of safe, high quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
* Positive resident experience through resident-first approach
What you will bring
* Registration with the AHPRA as a registered nurse is essential
* Minimum 2 years experience in providing clinical care
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Hold NDIS Worker Checks (or willing to obtain)
* Be passionate about delivering a person-centred approach to care
