We are seeking an experienced and skilled finance professional to join our team as a Finance Director. In this key role, you will provide strategic financial leadership and oversight across all campuses.
The Bridge Church is a vibrant and growing Sydney evangelical Anglican church with congregations meeting in four locations across Neutral Bay, Kirribilli, Macquarie Park and Rozelle.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial Management and Oversight: Maintain detailed income and expenditure records, oversee bookkeeper's daily responsibilities, and provide necessary advice and assistance.
* Reporting and Analysis: Prepare financial reports for the Treasurer, Finance Committee, and Wardens, including detailed analysis and commentary.
* Payroll and Compliance: Manage payroll process, reconcile payroll at year-end, and produce summary reports.
* Budgeting, Audit, and Reconciliation: Manage cash flow, prepare annual budget, and prepare annual accounts for audit.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Relevant degree and accounting qualifications (CPA, ACA).
* Demonstrated proficiency in Xero Accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
* A strong Christian character and ability to work well within a team.
