About the Internship
This internship is ideal for a university student looking to gain hands-on experience in media, content creation, and creative business strategy. You'll work closely with the Managing Partner across a variety of projects—both remotely and on location—ranging from commercial photo/video shoots to marketing campaigns and strategic business initiatives.
The role offers a blend of creative, technical and professional development, providing insight into the day-to-day operations of a growing creative agency.
Key Focus Areas
Media Production
* Learn how to operate professional photography and video equipment
* Assist on-set during shoots for events, commercials, and branded content
* Understand core principles like the exposure triangle and lighting techniques
* Gain experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and Lightroom Classic for editing
* Assist with file management and delivery using Dropbox Enterprise
Marketing & Content
* Contribute to digital marketing and social media campaigns
* Assist in producing promotional content and branded media assets
* Learn the fundamentals of building a brand strategy and online presence
* Create video reels, short-form content, and visual material for clients
Business & Strategy
* Support the development of EP Group's growth strategy in key markets
* Learn about client acquisition, market research, and pitch preparation
* Gain insight into operational strategy, financial planning, and reporting
People & Leadership
* Participate in team planning and internal communications
* Learn how to recruit, train, and manage a small creative team
* Develop an understanding of professional workplace standards, performance feedback and HR basics

Who We're Looking For
* A current university student seeking vocational placement
* Interest in media, content, photography, video, or marketing
* Organised and able to meet deadlines
* Willing to work independently and take initiative
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Basic familiarity with creative tools like Adobe Creative Suite is helpful, but not required
* High levels of personal grooming and presentation
Requirements
* Must be enrolled in a university program that offers vocational placement
* Able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule (to be agreed with the manager)
* Access to a personal laptop for remote work
* Must be based in Melbourne or able to travel if needed
