Overview
Boilermaker / Body and Coach Builder role at Lindsay Australia Ltd, based in our Coffs Harbour Workshop. This hands-on role involves work on heavy vehicle body building and repairs within the Trailer Repairs Division, suitable for someone with fabrication experience, a strong work ethic, and a team-focused attitude.
Responsibilities
Complete repairs and refurbishments to trailer bodies, including new floors, doors, delaminations, and repairs to door corners and walls (inside and out).
Cut, bend, mould and shape metals to repair or fabricate parts.
Fit and assemble metal components by welding, riveting, bolting, and soldering.
MIG welding and fabrication of trailers.
Carry out basic servicing and other duties as required.
What You’ll Bring
Vehicle body building / panel beating, fabricating and/or welding certificates / trade qualification.
Ability to interpret shop drawings.
Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded.
Proficiency in MIG welding, cutting and fabrication.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to workplace health and safety.
