The City of Joondalup is seeking an experienced Work Health and Safety Professional. This role supports the development and delivery of the city's safety management plan. The successful candidate will enhance processes, respond to health and safety issues, report incidents, and educate leaders.
Key Responsibilities
* Implementing contemporary work health and safety practices and principles across a diverse workforce.
* Developing and maintaining WHS documentation, including policies, procedures, and risk registers.
* Conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
This position requires a Cert IV in Work, Health and Safety or equivalent and a current Construction Safety Induction Card or willingness to obtain within one month. Experience with safety systems, Excel, and data analysis is also desired.
