A Day In The Life Of a Chef
Running your section with confidence – grill, pans, pizza, you name it
Prepping and cooking high-quality, consistent dishes during busy services
Working closely with a large, supportive team to keep the pass flowing
Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and presentation
Bringing positive energy to a fast-paced kitchen where no two days look the same
About You
Trade qualified with solid experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen
Confident across multiple sections, or eager to learn them
Calm and organised under pressure, even when the docket rail is full
A great communicator who thrives in a team environment
Reliable, passionate, and ready to bring your flavour to the Brook brigade
Inherent Requirements
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
