About the Role
The Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join its dedicated team of finance professionals.
This role involves providing high-quality financial accounting services to support the health service's financial sustainability and optimal delivery of healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Development and implementation of the financial management assurance framework by identifying financial control risks and recommending effective and efficient control solutions.
* Providing high-quality financial advice to senior management and staff.
* Preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial reports and statements.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or other relevant disciplines.
* Knowledge of and/or experience in the health service delivery environment.
* CPA/CA designation or equivalent would be highly regarded.
What We Offer:
Total remuneration package up to $148,323 comprised of hourly rate between $60.79 - $80.64 p.h., 12.75% employer superannuation contribution, and 17.5% leave loading.
