About the Role
We're looking for a commercially minded Global Creative Operations Manager – Parental Leave Cover to join our Brisbane team for a 12‐month contract.
The Global Creative Operations Manager role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. This role will have ownership of all inbound briefs and open design projects, manage resource allocation and delegation, oversee internal stakeholder management and process optimisation, and lead the maintenance of KEVIN.MURPHY creative content to keep it up‐to‐date, well‐organised, and accessible to both internal employees and external distributors and sales representatives. The ultimate responsibility is to increase creative efficiency and effectiveness while supporting strategic and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Traffic Management: Oversee the workflow and scheduling of creative projects, ensuring on‐time delivery within budget, manage fluctuating workloads, and provide regular capacity forecasts.
* Resource Allocation: Assign creative tasks to appropriate team members based on expertise and workload, ensuring efficient utilisation.
* Project Coordination: Collaborate with designers, creative directors, and clients to understand requirements and deadlines, and facilitate the creative concepting process.
* Shoot Pre‐Production: Coordinate internal stakeholders to plan timing, outline requirements, and enforce key milestones within the annual shoot calendar.
* Content Management: Organise and manage design files and assets, maintain proper version control, and create logical categories, tags, and taxonomies for easy navigation and search. Upload, edit, and publish various types of content.
* User Training: Provide training and support to the internal team to ensure effective use of workflow and content management systems.
* Communication & Collaboration: Facilitate clear communication between team members and stakeholders, work closely with design, creative, marketing, and education teams, resolve conflicts to meet business requirements, and foster teamwork.
Education and Experience
* Relevant experience in a similar role spanning Creative, Content and Digital.
* Essential experience in resource and traffic management with demonstrated problem‐solving, negotiation, and workflow optimisation skills.
* Mastery of project management with excellent attention to detail, organisational, communication, and adaptability skills.
* Good understanding of web technologies and content management principles.
* Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills in English.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Experience with workflow systems (ASANA) and content platforms (Bynder, MS OneDrive/SharePoint).
* Curiosity and growth mindset.
