We are seeking a professional, highly motivated, and qualified Carpenter to join our team. You will be working within the insurance industry, with a small team, across residential and commercial projects, covering Adelaide, Metro and Regional SA. Responsibilities Carrying out all aspects of general carpentry / general building works / repairs. Supervise and coordinate team members, other trades, and subcontractors to ensure completion of projects on time. Attend to site and office meetings. General carpentry / building call out services in both residential & commercial environments, Willing to do after-hours emergency call-out requests with award rates. Ability to carry out manual labour incl transport and deliveries with a “get-the-job done” attitude, Preparation of work areas prior to commencement of works (for example placing drop sheets / protective coverings for all exposed surfaces, taping etc), Temporary propping of structures, tarping and securing roof areas. Boarding up windows / openings Carrying out roof inspections / finding water ingress points on various buildings. Requirements: Trade qualification – Certificate III in Carpentry, Current SA Driver’s license, Own vehicle / tools for trade, White Card (current), National Police Clearance & DCSI clearance, Previous experience in residential and/or commercial carpentry (preferred), Excellent problem solving and teamwork, Great customer service skills, Ability to work autonomously with strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
