About The Role
John Hunter Hospital (JHH) is seeking an experienced and motivated nurse leader to join our established service for Gastroenterology and waitlist service. This role focuses on improving access to timely treatment for newly diagnosed patients while providing comprehensive support. You will play a key role in delivering advanced, evidence-based care within a dynamic multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be passionate about expanding the boundaries of nursing practice and committed to excellence in patient-centred care.
What You'll Be Doing
* Providing advanced clinical assessment, management and follow-up care
* Supporting patients and families through education, advocacy and care coordination
* Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care
* Contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives
* Working through our Waitlist patients
