About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced function bar staff and wait staff to join our team at The Dairy Ravensbourne in Ravensbourne, QLD. This is a casual role, offering flexible hours to suit your lifestyle. You will be an integral part of our hospitality team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth running of our functions and events.
What you'll be doing (note, you may opt for applying for either bar or wait staff positions, we are not expecting you to do both)
* Providing efficient and friendly table service to guests during functions and events
* Preparing and serving beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers and non-alcoholic drinks
* Assisting with event set-up and pack-down, including table and bar arrangements
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the bar and function areas
* Effectively communicating with the events team and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless customer experience
* Adhering to all relevant health, safety and licensing regulations
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a similar bar and wait staff role, ideally within the hospitality and tourism industry
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Strong knowledge of bar operations, including drink preparation and relevant licensing laws
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
* A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
