Rate: Up to $2,800 per day
Available Positions:
1. Staff Specialist – Cairns – Child and Youth
Dates: 06.05.25 – 30.05.25, 01.09.25 – 31.12.25
Services: CYMHS community, CYMHS rural and remote, and CYMHS inpatient.
2. Staff Specialist – Cairns – Inpatient
Dates: 14.04.25 – 30.05.25, 06.05.25 – 16.05.25, 06.05.25 – 31.12.25, 30.06.25 – 04.07.25, 01.09.25 – 31.12.25
3. Staff Specialist – Cairns – Rural Tablelands
Dates: 29.09.25 – 10.10.25
Description: This position services rural communities in the Tablelands - primarily Atherton and Mareeba. The position is based out of Cairns 2 days per week.
4. Staff Specialist – Cairns – Rural Community
Dates: 28.04.25 – 27.06.25
Description: This position services rural communities in Innisfail, Tully, Mossman & Kuranda. There is 1 registrar attached to Innisfail/Tully. Mix of F2F, stunning drive to work along Great Barrier Reef Drive, overnight accommodation at Port Douglas and Mission Beach resort, and V/C from Cairns office.
5. Staff Specialist – Cairns – Adult Community
Dates: 19.05.25 – 30.05.25, 11.08.25 – 12.09.25, 27.10.25 – 31.12.25
Description: This position is with adult community-based teams within the Mental Health Service.
6. Staff Specialist – Cairns – South CCT
Dates: 06.05.25 – 16.05.25, 20.07.25 – 03.08.25
Description: This is a community-based adult Mental Health Service based out of 10-12 Roberts Road.
7. Staff Specialist – Cairns – Remote East
Dates: 6 week block available November-December
Description: Fly-in, Fly-out position to the Torres and Cape serving remote communities (Torres Strait, Northern Peninsula and Cooktown/Hopevale/Wujal Wujal).
8. Staff Specialist – Cairns – Remote West
Dates: 02.08.25 – 12.09.25
Description: Fly-in, Fly-out position to the Torres and Cape serving remote communities (Indigenous communities of Aurukun, Kowanyama, Pormpuraaw, Lockhart River, Napranum, Mapoon and townships of Weipa and Coen).
