CommBank is seeking expressions of interest for afull-time Hospitality Traineeshipwith ourClient Services team based in Perth.
This 12-month traineeship offers hands-on experience while you complete a nationally recognised qualification in Hospitality, including Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
You'll be supported by our Client Services and Indigenous Careers teams, with the potential for ongoing opportunities within the Commonwealth Bank.
What you will be doing
As a Hospitality Trainee, you'll rotate through key roles within our Client Services team, gaining hands-on experience in:
Reception and Concierge
- Welcome and register guests
- Manage visitor access
- Support VIP arrivals with professionalism and care
Meeting Room Coordination
- Prepare meeting spaces
- Set up rooms and arrange catering
- Ensure rooms are clean, refreshed, and ready for use
Hospitality Support
- Assist with internal events and business meetings, including:
- Refreshing rooms between bookings
- Serving and clearing catering for both formal and informal functions
- Taking coffee orders and learning barista skills
- Supporting formal dining and cocktail service
- Assisting with beverage service and bar setup
What We're Looking For
We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who are:
- Curious and eager to learn
- Comfortable using computers and Microsoft tools like Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
- Great communicators – both written and verbal
- Team players who bring a positive attitude
- Passionate about delivering great customer service
- Open to feedback and growth
- Able to identify and act on potential risks
