Overview
Above Scaffolding (a division of Acrow) is seeking an experienced Scaffolder / Rigger to join our growing team in Sydney, NSW. This is a full-time position responsible for the safe and effective installation, modification and dismantling of scaffolding structures across various construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Safely erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with approved plans and industry standards
- Inspect scaffolding and associated equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Use various power and hand tools to construct, modify and dismantle scaffolding
- Identify and report any safety issues or defects to the project manager
- Assist in the loading and unloading of scaffolding materials and equipment
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- SA, SI, RA, RI, RB scaffolding and rigging licenses
- Minimum 3 years\' experience as a Scaffolder / Rigger in the construction industry
- Clean police record
- Excellent knowledge of scaffolding systems, rigging procedures and safety requirements
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret scaffolding plans and drawings
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Commitment to working safely and following all relevant WHS regulations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure to meet deadlines
