About The Role
Based onsite at our Dandenong South Head Office and reporting to the CFO, you will become an integral member of our Finance team. The role will be hands on with lots of variety. Some of your responsibilities will include;
* Preparing and maintaining monthly and annual budgets
* Assisting Operation Managers to improve financial performance and achieve financial objectives
* Maintain and improve accounting systems and procedures
* Strategic financial analysis, including assisting with tendering, pricing and new projects
* Assisting with Month and Year End processes
* Various ad hoc tasks and assistance / support to other team members
About You
The role requires the successful candidate to have;
* Degree qualification in Accounting or related discipline and CA or CPA
* At least 5 years of overall accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Management Accountant (or similar) role
* Cost accounting experience with the ability to develop and improve models
* Strong computer skills (excel, Qbks or Xero)
* Attention to detail and problem solving skills
* The ability to be flexible, show initiative and take ownership of tasks
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
