Based across the Greater Brisbane region with our head office in Murarrie and reporting to the Operations Manager, this role works closely with the Construction Manager as part of the broader Large Loss division to support the successful delivery of commercial large loss claims.
As a Project Manager, you will operate within a fast-paced environment where strong communication, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage competing priorities are critical to success. This role is suited to a proactive individual who thrives on accountability, problem‐solving, and maintaining momentum across multiple live projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage projects through the full claim lifecycle, from initial allocation through to completion and invoicing
* Review estimates, project programmes, budgets, scopes, and documentation prior to submission and throughout delivery
* Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, permits, compliance requirements, and certifications across live projects
* Monitor project costs, timelines, progress claims, variations, KPI performance, and programme delivery throughout all stages of the claim
* Maintain communication with customers, insurers, assessors, brokers, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to support project outcomes and service delivery
* Review cost reports, project updates, certification milestones, and compliance documentation to ensure projects remain on track and within agreed parameters
* Ensure Requests for Information (RFIs), contract variations, progress claims, approvals, complaints, escalations, and system updates are managed accurately and within required timeframes
* Support project audits, stakeholder meetings, and escalation management throughout delivery and completion stages

We are looking for an organised individual with a proactive attitude and the ability to lead multiple stakeholders through complex project delivery. To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Relevant experience in project management, construction coordination, or a similar project delivery role
* Understanding of construction methodology, budgeting, subcontractor engagement, and programme management
* Proven ability to review estimates, assess project requirements, and manage delivery against scope, budget, and timeframes
* Strong organisation skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records, reporting, and system updates
* Effective communication and relationship management skills across internal and external stakeholders
* Experience using Microsoft Office and industry-relevant project, construction, or contract management systems
