Job Description
The Secure Extended Care Unit provides long-term, recovery-focused care for consumers requiring 24/7 mental health and psychosocial rehabilitation.
* Deliver holistic, evidence-based nursing care to consumers within an inpatient mental health setting.
* Complete comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans aligned with recovery goals.
* Support therapeutic programs, including group and individual interventions.
* Maintain accurate documentation, communication, and clinical handover in line with organizational policy.
* Contribute to a safe, therapeutic environment and support reduction of restrictive practices.
* Participate in supervision, student support, quality improvement, and professional development responsibilities.
