Opportunity
This is a career-defining opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager to represent an established brand at the forefront of infrastructure safety and site equipment solutions. You'll be responsible for developing and managing key customer relationships across NSW, working with major civil contractors, government road authorities, and Tier 1 project partners involved in road construction, maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades.
This position offers significant autonomy; you'll manage your own schedule, work across Sydney and regional NSW, and be trusted to identify opportunities, prepare tenders, and oversee client partnerships from enquiry through to project delivery. Key duties include:
* Develop and manage relationships with major road authorities, councils, and civil contractors.
* Identify new project opportunities and secure supply agreements within infrastructure and maintenance sectors.
* Prepare detailed quotations, proposals, and tender submissions in line with technical specifications.
* Conduct site visits and meetings to understand customer needs and recommend tailored product solutions.
* Collaborate with internal operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and service support.
* Provide expert product advice on lighting, power, and site solutions to meet compliance and project standards.
* Manage a structured sales pipeline using CRM tools and deliver monthly reports on activity and forecasts.
* Represent the business at trade shows, industry events, and site demonstrations to promote new solutions.

Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a driven, solutions-focused sales professional with a track record of managing customers within the civil construction, infrastructure, or equipment hire industries. You will bring:
* Demonstrated success in external sales or key account management
* Experience dealing with civil and/or commercial contractors, councils, or state authorities.
* Understanding of roadworks, infrastructure, or site equipment operations.
* Commercial acumen and confidence preparing proposals and tenders.
* Strong communication and relationship management skills.
* Self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
* Current driver's licence and willingness to travel within NSW.
