Leisure Sales Executive Job Description

This role involves leading a sales team in Australia to achieve revenue targets and business growth.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of airline products, services, and the ANZ travel market. They must be able to build relationships, drive results, and perform under pressure.

We are looking for a skilled executive who can develop and implement sales strategies, analyse sales data, and ensure the team's alignment with organisational goals.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for hiring, training, and motivating sales staff, identifying new market opportunities, and collaborating with other departments for seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and develop the Australia Leisure Sales team to achieve targets.
* Drive sales and marketing strategies to exceed revenue and grow market share.
* Build strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators and partners.
* Identify and grow new business, supporting the team to expand customer base.
* Conduct reviews, provide coaching and feedback to improve performance.
* Monitor market trends and competitors, share insights with management.
* Prepare and present sales reports with recommendations for improvement.
* Represent the organisation at trade and consumer events (incl. evenings/weekends).
* Ensure compliance with corporate standards and service levels.
* Oversee sales pipelines for accuracy, productivity and target progress.
* Provide strategic input on planning, programs and revenue initiatives.
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of airline products and the AU leisure market.
* Maintain industry networks to unlock opportunities and partnerships.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in business administration, Aviation Management, Economics, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is highly desirable.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales and Marketing within Australia and New Zealand, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
