Responsibilities
* Support customers and clients through all issues relating to the laser cutting and fabrication of their products.
* Servicing customer needs and requests professionally, thoroughly and in a timely manner.
* Provide technical support to production, sales and customer service departments.
* Create shopfloor drawings.
* Modify customer concepts to create detailed fabrication drawings.
* Reverse engineer CAD files to create 2D flat patterns for laser cutting.
About You
* Experience in manufacturing with a high degree of drafting experience in the metal industry.
* Understanding of fabrication processes including laser cutting, folding, welding and assembly.
* Experience with 2D and 3D design packages, preferably Inventor or AutoCAD.
* Experience in sheet‐metal design.
* Ability to prepare bills of materials.
* Liaison with suppliers to source components.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
* Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
* Willingness to learn brake press folding software.
* Understanding of drawing standards.
* Working knowledge of MS Office.
