Job Description
AbbVie is seeking a Brand Manager to assist in the development of annual marketing plans, coordinate implementation, and grow long‐term sales, profit, and market share for assigned products within the overall Corporate Business Plan. The Brand Manager will lead and support the development, translation, and execution of a multichannel marketing strategy to ensure strategic and business objectives are met. This is a 12‐month max term contract opportunity.
Responsibilities
* Development and execution of strategically aligned commercial initiatives in Immunology and Neuroscience
* Facilitate and lead agile project teams incorporating external stakeholders
* Develop strategic relationships with internal and external customers to gather insights and help guide business decisions.
* Participate in the development of marketing objectives and brand strategies, and their aligned tactics.
* Drive delivery of new customer insights to enhance and build on brand innovation.
* Work with brand and sales teams to execute brand strategy.
* Work with brand and sales team to implement omnichannel strategies incorporating traditional and digital channels
* Coaching and modelling the AbbVie Innovation Framework.
* Navigate internal process to ensure all business activities comply with the relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards while delivering on deadlines.
* Achieve sales and market share annual goals.
* Delivering highly tailored, compelling experiences using real‐time data, advanced analytics and AI to reflect customers' unique preferences and behaviours.
* Understanding the key forces and dynamics inside and outside AbbVie that guide all decisions.
* Understanding market access key stakeholders' economics and decision making to enable patient access.
* Gathering, analysing and synthesising data to generate impactful insights that drive action, deepen customer intimacy and fuel curiosity.
* Inspiring action through compelling narratives that effectively convey value for key stakeholders, including customers, peers and leaders.
* Realising the full potential of our brands and portfolios using a deep understanding of the market, competition, customers, and clinical value to build a compelling brand story and provide short‐ and long‐term strategic direction.
* Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to exceed shared goals.
* Report any adverse event within 24 hours as per AbbVie's policies and procedures.
* Proactively participate in AbbVie's WHS programs, adhere to policies and promote a safe work environment at all times.
* Adhere to AbbVie's internal codes of conduct and compliance processes.
* Other ad‐hoc duties such as administrative duties, as requested.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in business or science related field
* Fully Conversant in Medicines Australia Code of Conduct
* Strong stakeholder management and previous healthcare/marketing experience
* Deliver highly tailored, compelling experiences using real‐time data, advanced analytics and AI to reflect customers unique preferences and behaviours
* Knowledge of Marketing fundamentals & theory, strategic brand planning processes and the role of sales teams in the marketing process
* Knowledge of the strategic brand planning processes
* Understanding of the Product life cycle management processes
* Digital marketing and understanding of how the PBS system work
* Understanding the role of Sales Teams in the Marketing Process
* Experience turning market data into key insights
* Management of complex campaigns and managing agency relationships
* Multichannel exposure - print, digital, sales force
* Budget management
* Effective collaboration with cross‐functional stakeholders, specifically sales teams, deploying brand tactics and translating strategy into action
* Demonstrated excellence in execution
* Professional, accountable and collaborative team player
* Launch experience (desirable)
