We are looking for a Airfreight Freight Transport Specialist, within the Airfreight Freight Import Department, at our Melbourne Head Office.

Key Responsibilities
Coordination of Air Freight import deliveries.
Manage cartage providers on a day-to-day basis to adhere to agreed KPIs.
Some coordination of payments for release of cargo via outside forwarders.
Act as key contact for allocated customers on agreed delivery requirements and supporting on challenges.
Monitoring and actioning Customs, AQIS, DAFF requirements.
Reduction of client transport liabilities.
Key Accountabilities
Previous experience in Shipping/International freight forwarding industry in airfreight and/or ocean-freight / Import operational roles
Good knowledge of forwarding business, DHL products and business systems (advantageous)
CargoWise and Expedient experience (advantageous)
Ability to identify and meet customer needs in a pleasant and friendly manner.
