Senior Policy Officer - APONT
CL 6 - SO C (Starting $90,386 progressing to $125,122); Fixed term 1 year.
Key Functions
The position aims to enhance the Central Land Council's participation in and support for the Strategic priorities of APO NT, particularly with respect to improving outcomes under the national Closing the Gap Agreement. This includes advocacy relating to Closing the Gap Priority Reforms and socio-economic targets including the actions identified in NT jurisdictional implementation plans. The position sits within the Central Land Council's Policy Unit and reports to an identified Senior Policy Officer. It will meet regularly with the APONT secretariat and with APONT policy officers in other member organisations regarding priority work.
