Position Summary

The Senior Corporate Affairs Officer assists with the implementation of a communications and media strategy that builds the profile of Bendigo Health both internally with staff and externally within the local community and beyond. The role promotes Bendigo Health as an employer of choice and supports the Director to implement high‐impact media strategy, government relations plan and internal engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

* Develop and execute communications and media plans aligned with the Bendigo Health Strategic Plan.
* Coordinate timely health messages across the Loddon Mallee region.
* Collaborate with media and communications staff in the Department of Health and other agencies.
* Support the Director in implementing media strategy, government relations and internal engagement.
* Promote programs that enhance community engagement and highlight high‐quality, cost‐effective care.

Position Details

Position Title: Senior Corporate Affairs Officer

Classification: HS4

Salary per fortnight (exc. super): $3,217.60

Hours per fortnight: 80 with an ADO every 4 weeks

Employment Status: Ongoing Full Time

Areas of focus include internal and external communications, development of fundraising appeals, stakeholder liaison, management of the volunteer program, and coordination of governance and mandated reporting.
