Altrad are offering on-going work at our Kwinana Fabrication Workshop, also specializing in Refractory, Sheetmetal and more. The position of a Boilermaker/Welder will see you gain considerable insight into major operations. - Renowned Fabrication Workshop based in Kwinana Beach, South of Perth
- Monday to Saturday – 10-hour shifts (Monday to Friday) with a half-day on Saturdays
- Competitive hourly rate of $41.00–$43.00 plus applicable penalty rates
- Welders would need to complete a 3g-4g (Structural) or 6g (Pipe) Weld Test
- $23.00 daily attendance allowance
- Join a well-established and well-maintained workshop offering consistent, long-term work within a supportive team environment
Who do we want to hear from?
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Boilermaking/Welding, preferably within the resources and minerals industry
- Hold the following Nationally Accredited Qualifications:
- A Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade
- Demonstrated experience working on large scale maintenance or construction projects within the resources industry
- Demonstrated experience working on large scale industrial services or maintenance projects
- Demonstrated experience working in a mine site shutdown environment
- Demonstrated experience working in a mine site or minerals processing maintenance environment
- Demonstrated experience working in a large-scale oil and gas maintenance environment
- Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
