The Role

We believe in the talent and strength of our team, so that, in aim to keep growing together, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our Construction team.

To be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the successful completion of projects within the organization. Project manager coordinate resources, manage timelines, and ensure that project objectives align with the overall goals of the organization. Act as the central point of communication, facilitating collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and other key contributors.

Project manager need to possess strong organizational and leadership skills to guide teams toward project milestones, all while adhering to budget constraints and meeting quality standards. Effective communication is a cornerstone of the role, as project manager need to articulate project requirements, provide updates, and address any challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop comprehensive project plans that clearly outline the project's scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. This involves working closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
* Lead project teams by assigning roles and responsibilities based on team members' skills and expertise. Motivate and inspire team members to work collaboratively towards achieving project objectives, fostering a positive and productive team culture.
* Facilitate effective communication by establishing clear channels for information flow among team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties. Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, milestones, risks, and issue resolution.
* Identify potential risks to project success and develop strategies to mitigate them. Implement a proactive risk management approach, continually monitoring and addressing risks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful outcomes.
* Develop detailed project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and track expenses to ensure the project stays within financial constraints. This involves constant monitoring and adjustment to align with changing project needs.
* Establish and enforce quality standards for project deliverables, conducting regular reviews and assessments. Implement quality control measures to ensure that project outputs meet or exceed predefined standards.
* Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs by documenting and obtaining approvals for modifications. Implement effective change management processes to minimize disruptions and maintain project integrity.
* Address and resolve issues that arise during the project, utilizing problem-solving skills to overcome challenges. Proactively identify and tackle obstacles to keep the project on track and ensure successful completion.
* Client Relations: Build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders by understanding their needs and expectations. Effectively communicate project progress, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
* Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular project status reports for both internal and external stakeholders. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, project plans, and other relevant records to ensure transparency and accountability.
* Contract Management: Manage contracts and agreements related to the project, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. This includes negotiation, documentation, and adherence to contractual obligations throughout the project.
* Closure and Evaluation: Ensure a smooth project closure by delivering final project documentation and outputs. Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned, assess project success, and provide recommendations for future improvements.
* To deliver the Project on program and on budget while meeting all health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
* Report to the Australia's Managing Director and your Supervisor of any Health and Safety incidents.
* Supervise and help at the developing of the design and construction strategy and supervise and manage the Works.
* To ensure timely procurement of all resources, materials and subcontracts in order to meet or exceed all EPC Contract requirements for the Project.
* Provide monthly and weekly reports on the progress of the Works, including any significant events and matters regarding the EPC Contract;
* To proactively encourage and promote a Project discipline that seeks innovative solutions, value engineering, and cost and program improvements.
* To actively seek to minimize all waste and loss of materials and resources on the Project.
* To request the recruitment, mobilization and demobilization of all necessary resources and manage the staffing plan across the project life.
* To organize and supervise in coordination with your Supervisor the accounts of the Project including invoicing and receiving payments on behalf thereof, and to ensure that the Project bank account(s) is operated in a manner that maximizes interest earning potential whilst respecting trading arrangements and business ethics.
* To ensure that the Employer's contractual rights are always protected and to maximize the commercial return to the parties.
* To effectively and efficiently manage all designers, subcontractors, suppliers and other service providers.
Skills & Experience Required
* Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering degree.
* Training in Project Management is a plus.
* 5 years of professional experience as a production manager in electrical works or 3 years of professional experience as Project Manager with a strong electrical component.
