About This Role:
This is a key position within our construction projects that requires exceptional administrative support and effective contract management.
Main Responsibilities:
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
* Prepare and manage subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules, and ensure project document control.
* Take ownership of costs and budget outcomes, maintaining current knowledge of the project's financial position.
* Support the Project Manager in determining an effective RFI management process with subcontractors.
* Develop budget targets identifying key risks and opportunities for best commercial outcomes in consultation with the Project Manager.
* Manage and maintain cost control software, including budget entry, commitments, forecasting, variations, payments, and coding of invoices.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive outcomes.
* Influence and build commercially beneficial relationships with all project stakeholders.
* Act decisively with an ability to problem solve.
