About the Role
As the Growth Markets Sustainability Lead you will be responsible for strategy, performance and growth of Sustainability consulting services and solutions across Growth Markets (which includes Australia, Japan, Brazil, South East Asia, Greater China, and Middle East). This will include building a strong market presence through client consulting impact, Sustainability practitioner network activation across our Regions, and thought leadership which brings together our clients, Avanade, Accenture and Microsoft capabilities. You have a strong passion for Sustainability, with knowledge of the client, industry and technology landscape with respect to Sustainability initiatives.
This role is part of Avanade's Advisory business group. In this role you will partner closely with our global Sustainability leaders and key teams across Growth Markets including Sales, Alliances, Marketing, the Experiences business group and the Technology business group. The impact of this role in Growth Markets will be seen in two ways:
Rapid growth of our Sustainability practice through specific and distinctive services and solutions for our clients
Sustainability embedded into our broader set of services to enable Avanade to differentiate in the market
While this role drives the strategic context of Avanade's growth in Sustainability, it is also "hands on" - you will be comfortable in driving consulting engagements and building trusted advisor relationships with C-level stakeholders to bring the best of Avanade and demonstrate our ability to deliver outcomes.
**In this role, you will be responsible for**:
Advising clients
- Advise clients on their Sustainability strategy, challenges and opportunities and support their ability to record, report and improve through innovative digital solutions
- Manage processes and teams, including budgets, and guide the professional development of less experienced team members
- Act as coach and mentor to your clients and your team as they develop their own consulting skills
- Travel as required.

Market strategy
- Through collaboration with global Sustainability leadership:
- Help define Sustainability propositions and GTM priorities for Growth Markets
- Curate a comprehensive set of Sustainability assets, accelerators and solutions that are most relevant for Growth Markets and our client needs
- Establish partnership and ecosystem rhythm for Growth Markets with key partners including Microsoft and Accenture
- Manage and own Growth Markets client success stories and case studies.
Sales & GTM
- Through collaboration with Sales and GTM leadership:
- Strong commercial acumen to drive Growth Markets Sustainability practice Sales target and pipeline (based on a $34bn market opportunity)
- Joint business development and GTM with Accenture and Microsoft
- Enable market facing activities with Marketing e.g. COP, WEF
- Enable and focus regional teams on the opportunity to drive market development focused on Sustainability services and solutions.
**Team and Capability Development**:
- Partner with Talent Community Leads and Regional Capability Leads to activate and nurture a network of practitioners across our business with a focus on Sustainability.
- Enable and grow our Sustainability SMEs and mentor our next generation of leaders.
